These fit over your bulky gym shoes for easy on and off in the winter because they are wide-legged instead of jogger style. They have a slick texture, not terry or fleece on the inside -- almost like a neoprene and cotton-polyester hybrid. The waistband is generous with strong ties. I'd say it's oversized but I think that's clear from the styling in the online photos. Great pockets. I'm really glad I got a pair!! (5'6", 135#, 32E, 28" waist, 38" hips, pair shaped, bought a size medium and it is pleasantly oversized; I wear mediums most often from CRZ)
The fabric is super soft and the size fits well.

First, I will say that the fit and length of these is perfect. They are not what I would consider 'sweatpants' as they are kind of slick on the inside like track pants and show panty lines VERY bad. I was gifted a pair of the 'fleece lined sweatpants' but they were too short and I much prefer the waist tie on the inside like the SoftAura. I think if the SoftAura cut & style was combined with the fleece inside, these would be the perfect cozy winter sweatpants. I got the Bone/White color which is very nice and the Black. The black color faded significantly after a couple of washes which is a bummer as they do no longer match the sweatshirt that is supposed to match. Crz makes such good products so I will definitely be on the look out for improvements in the sweats category.
